Ambient daylight sensors

Combining Ambient Daylight Sensors with Waveguide Lighting’s low-energy luminaires can significantly contribute to further cost savings.

The sensor measures the available light on the work area (a combination of artificial and natural light) and automatically adjusts the luminaire’s light level depending on how much daylight is available and the lux level required.

All Waveguide Lighting’s luminaires can be integrated with Ambient Daylight Sensors for superb further energy savings. Our range of available drivers also ensures that these sensors can also be integrated with your existing Building Management System or Lighting Control System if you so wish.

Even higher energy savings can be achieved when Ambient Daylight Sensors are combined with PIR/Microwave Sensors that detect occupancy.

For dusk-to-dawn operations, photocells can also be integrated into Waveguide Lighting’s luminaires, which automatically turn lights on at sunset and off at sunrise.
